Report: Sox claim Napoli on waivers

According to an MLB.com report, the Red Sox made a waiver claim for veteran catcher Mike Napoli of the Angels on Sunday.
Napoli was not in the Angels lineup on Sunday.
The Angels now have a day to work out a trade, or they can opt to keep Napoli.
Napoli, 28, is batting .249 with 21 home runs and 60 RBI in 112 games for the Angels. He has started 57 games at catcher and 49 games at first base.
Napoli has hit at least 20 homers ineach of the past three seasons.
