Fisher Cats earn playoff berth

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats have clinched a playoff berth for the first time since the team's championship year of 2004.
The Fisher Cats clinched on Saturday despite a loss to Portland when the Reading Phillies were defeated by the Binghamton Mets.
New Hampshire will face Trenton in a best-of-five series beginning Sept. 8.
