Wilson earns save for NL All-Stars

New Hampshire’s Brian Wilson, closer for the San Francisco Giants, earned the save on Tuesday night in the Major League All-Star Game.

The National League All-Stars defeated the American League, 5-1.

Wilson (Londonderry, N.H.), entered the game with one out in the ninth inning and two runners on base.

Another New Englander, Chicago White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko (Providence, R.I.) drew a walk for the American League in the ninth inning.
