Costantino throws NECBL no-hitter

Laconia Musktrats pitcher Chris Costantino tossed the fifth no-hitter in New England Collegiate Baseball League history on July 17 in a 7-0 win over the Keene Swamp Bats.
Costantino (Lincoln, R.I.) struck out nine and walked two in the victory.
A former Biship Hendricken High School standout, Costantino was a 49th-round selection of the Boston Red Sox in the 2009 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, but opted to attend Walters State Community College in Tennessee.
