Cape Cod League All-Stars announced

The rosters for the 49th annual Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game have been announced, with the Brewster Whitecaps and Bourne Braves leading the nominations with six apiece.
The All-Star Game will be held July 29 at Fenway Park.
Harwich pitcher Taylor Rogers (Kentucky) will start on the mound for the East All-Stars, while Bourne’s Ryan Eades (LSU) gets the nod for the West.
Eades has been outstanding throughout the season for Bourne and currently has the second-lowest ERA in the league at 0.86.
Rogers, meanwhile, has a 1.73 ERA with 22 strikeouts in five games for Harwich.
Other notable East All-Stars include Orleans first baseman Ben Waldrip (Medford, Mass./Jacksonville State), who is the league’s current home run leader with six, and Orleans pitcher Trevor Gott (Kentucky), who has a 0.60 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 13 appearances.
Leading the West will be Cotuit outfielder Victor Roache (Georgia Southern) who is among the league leaders in all three Triple Crown categories, along with Hyannis pitcher Scott Firth (Clemson) has has a 0.82 ERA.
Comcast SportsNet New England will broadcast the game, which will also be carried on several other outlets across the country.
