The early reviews for New England's crop of 2027 MLB draft prospects seem promising.
Boston College has two top-100 prospects entering the fall season, and two more players who seem likely to get drafted. Of the top 10 New England prospects, four are from BC, one is a Massachusetts prep school prospect, and the other five play college ball outside of New England. However, they are New England natives.
The 2027 MLB Draft will take place during MLB All-Star weekend in mid-July, so there is plenty of baseball to be played before then.
Nonetheless, here is an early look at the top 10 prospects in New England for the 2027 MLB Draft.
