Salisbury School two-way prospect Francis Conners-Schmid has emerged as New England’s top prospect in the Class of 2028. After batting .500 with a 1.375 OPS during the prep school season, he torched the summer circuit while playing in the inaugural season for the Jason Kidd Select National Team.
Conners-Schmid’s fastball topped out at 91 mph, and his exit velocity peaked at 110 mph. He also earned invitations to the Area Code Games and USA Baseball National Development Camp before committing to the University of Virginia in October.
