Baseball Dad: Parents MUST be actively involved in recruiting

Here’s something I heard a lot through the college baseball recruiting process:

“Parents should let their boys and their coaches handle all of the communications with college baseball coaches in the recruiting process.”

I heard about college coaches who refused to talk with parents when it came to initiating contact.

I sort of believed it, because it was the prevailing wisdom.
