Baserunning skills not in short supply at preps

The importance of having a top-flight baserunner is critical to any team’s success level. It’s a many splendored way for a team to win.

Aggressive and fleet-of-foot runners often place immediate pressure on a defense. Those gifted to swipe bases and instinctively run the bases well put themselves in a better position to score.

Having these type of players can certainly bolster any team’s opportunity to win.

Based on conversations with coaches, New England Baseball Journal has put together a list highlighting some of the best preparatory school baserunning threats in New England.
