The pace of college commitment announcements has not slowed in September. Since our last update on Aug. 25, we've had 75 more college commitments for prospects in the Class of 2027. We now have 275 Class of '27 prospects with plans to play in college.
Bishop Hendricken (R.I.) is the first high school to reach double-digit commitments with 10. Winchendon School (Mass.) is next with seven, while Loomis Chaffee has six. Schools with five commits include Belmont Hill (Mass.), Avon Old Farms (Conn.), Canterbury School (Conn.), Cheshire Academy (Conn.), Dexter Southfield (Mass.), and Trumbull High (Conn.).
At the club level, MVP New England leads the way with 21 commits. NEB is right behind with 20. GBG Northeast has 15, and the four clubs with 10 commits each include Baseball U CT, Boston Prime, New England Scorpions and Nokona.
The colleges with the most commitments from New England prospects include Stonehill (12), Endicott (11), Salve Regina (10), Rhode Island (8), Roger Williams (8), Northeastern (7), Brown (6), CCSU (6), and UMass (6).
