Intimidation and the ability to get inside a batter's head are all part of the pitching tricks of the trade. Being 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds helps accomplish them. Connor Lee, however, isn't simply an ominous figure who can strike fear into an opposing lineup.
Plain and simple, the right-hander knows how to pitch.
Lee is in his first year at Kent School, coming in as a repeat junior by way of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where he starred at Spackenkill High School.
His decision to attend the prestigious preparatory school was based mostly on the fact that his father, Paul, is the Lions' varsity boys’ basketball coach. The elder Lee served as captain for the Columbia University basketball team, and later had stints as an assistant coach at his alma mater, as well as some other Division 1 college programs, including Northwestern and Marist.
