The middle week of April comes with some changes to New England Baseball Journal’s Division 1 Top 10.

It’s status quo at the top, though, as UConn and Bryant continue to pace the region’s 18 teams. The Huskies kept their edge at the top of the NEBJ ranks, with both a head-to-head win in Smithfield, R.I., and another American Athletic Conference series victory.

Fairfield reaches the top half for the first time, a five-game winning streak putting it right in the thick of the MAAC race, while Central Connecticut State also makes a jump entering a crucial Northeast Conference series this coming weekend.

Have a look at our latest NEBJ Top 10, the season’s ninth, and Players of the Week below.
