Gallery: Super 8 — Newton North, SJ Shrewsbury, Franklin, St. John’s Prep

In April of 2021, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association voted to pause the Super 8 tournament, a postseason battle of the top eight teams in the state to determine the strongest team in any division. This year, six of the top teams in the state -- Newton North, St. John's Shrewsbury, Franklin, St. John's Prep, Braintree and North Andover -- agreed to participate in a midseason Super 8 Classic with head-to-head matchups on the final Saturday of Massachusetts schools' April vacation.
