John Fritz's upbringing has been centralized around the prep school circuit. A multi-talented, three-sport athlete, the roots of the Fritz family tree grow deep.
His grandfather Richard Flood was a long-time hockey coach at Noble & Greenough School. Flood, along with good friend Richard Marr, the former Milton Academy hockey coaching guru, formed the widely-popular Flood-Marr Hockey Tournament, considered by many the best prep school hockey tournament in New England.
John's father Tom Fritz is a history teacher and assistant football/baseball coach at Phillips Academy. Prior to that, he coached at Delaware's St. Andrew's School and The Taft School in Connecticut. His mother Kassy serves as Director of College Counseling at Phillips Academy.
So, with both of his parents in Big Blue, how did John end up traveling 15 minutes across the town line to attend Brooks School?
