Paw Sox: The payoff for Jeremy Barfield

Jeremy Barfield is done pulling punches.

From Vancouver to Mexico and seemingly all spots in between, the son of former big league All-Star Jesse Barfield has experienced all of the highs and lows in his 10 years in professional baseball, except the highest of highs.

Now in Pawtucket, just one step away from reaching the majors for the first time in his career, the 29-year-old is reflective of his past, his familial history and why he’s still pushing toward his dream, despite numerous times where he could easily have hung them up.
