Ethan Student of St. Mark's is headed to RIT next season.

Ethan Student had a day never to forget after smacking a pair of home runs, including a grand slam, to pace St. Mark's to a convincing 14-1 victory over BB&N this week.

Student, a senior, went 3 for 3 at the plate and drove in a career-high eight runs.

"I am pleased to see Ethan have a performance like this early in the season," said Lions coach Rob Calagione. "I know that he worked very hard this off-season to prepare, including a significant amount of time in the weight room. It is great to see that effort be rewarded."

Jacob Silver also brought in a pair. Pitcher Wyatt Scotti allowed just one run in five innings on the mound for the Lions, while striking out seven.
