Auburn, Mass., native Tyler Beede is preparing for what could be his first season in the big leagues with the San Francisco Giants.
The 24-year-old right-hander was sharp in his final three Arizona Fall League starts, after spending the 2017 season with the Giants’ Triple-A affiliate in Sacramento.
Beede, a Lawrence Academy alumnus and former Vanderbilt University national champion, is rated one of the top prospects in the Giants’ organization. The Giants selected him in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft.
