The fall baseball season is underway for the majority of Division 1 teams in the region. Many programs around New England have released schedules for scrimmages and scout days, while others have returned to the field for intrasquad workouts.
From a scouting perspective, New England’s top-ranked programs like UConn, Northeastern and Boston College tend to draw the most attention in the fall. However, Harvard, Central Connecticut State and Tufts may offer worthwhile stops for scouts this season due to the presence of some legit pro prospects.
For scouts, the fall offers an opportunity to catch their breath and begin to organize draft boards for 2023 and 2024.
