The recruiting cycle has picked up considerably in the last two months as high school prospects have had the opportunity to play in showcase events and for summer travel teams.
Many college recruiters are also relying on video clips as well as their evaluations from last season and pouring through social media accounts to find evidence that players are staying active — or possibly even finding ways to improve — this fall.
With many high school and prep school teams getting back to workouts this fall, many college coaches will look to firm up commitments and round out their respective ’22 recruiting classes.
Last week, we provided a list of New England’s top uncommitted ’21 prospects. Today, we provide a list of top uncommitted ’22 prospects.
Class of 2022

Ivan Arias
Shortstop, Dexter Southfield
Boston, Mass.
Bats: Right | Throws: Right
Height: 5-8 | Weight: 170
Arias may be the top ’22 prospect in all of New England. He transferred to Dexter after playing for USA Baseball’s 17U team and representing the Northeast at the Area Code Games tryouts.

Amherst, N.H.
