The marquee recruiting showcase of the fall season will be the 2026 Perfect Game WWBA Underclass World Championship, Oct. 1 to 5, at JetBlue Park and surrounding MLB minor league facilities.
The event is predominantly for Class of 2028 prospects, although teams can roster players in younger classes. A total of 234 teams will be competing, and each team is guaranteed to play four games. Teams from New England include Boston Prime, Clubhouse Evoshield, MVP New England, Nor'Easter Runbirds, NEB, Northeast Lions, and US9 Prospects.
The event typically marks the last chance for college recruiters to see Class of '28 prospects in a competitive baseball environment before the spring of 2027. As such, many of the games will be attended by college recruiters, and to a lesser degree, pro scouts.
