The 2022 MLB Draft will not be as plentiful with top-end New England prospects as 2021, when three natives were selected in the first round and seven in the top 100 selections.
However, we can expect to hear the names of a few New England prospects in the top 100 with many more names expected to round out the haul for MLB squads over the 20-round draft.
The 2022 MLB Draft will run from July 17 to 19 during All-Star Week in Los Angeles. Day 1 will include Rounds 1 and 2. Day 2 will feature Rounds 3 through 10. The final 10 rounds will be on Day 3.
