An old saying goes that “the more things change, the more they stay the same.”
The months may have passed from March to June, but little has changed in the final edition of NEBJ’s Prep School Coaches Poll even though the season is complete and trophies have been raised.
Among the final ranked teams, the top three and four of the top six all had their seasons end in championship fashion over the past couple of weeks. In the first full prep school season since 2019, the top spot was held by one team from start to finish but four others earned multiple first-place votes in the final poll.
NEBJ’s Prep School Coaches Poll is voted upon by coaches throughout New England and released weekly during the season.
