After a bit of a down year for New England MLB prospects in 2022, the talent pool for 2023 is looking stacked as the July draft approaches.
New England’s 2023 MLB draft class includes two left-handed high school pitchers who have been clocked in the high-90s, a Cape League MVP, a Vanderbilt ace, and two Boston College prospects who have shined in the ACC as well as the Cape League.
The 2023 MLB First-Year Player Draft will take place on July 17–19, in Los Angeles in conjunction with the 2021 MLB All-Star Game on July 19.
