“A whole new world.”
That’s how an excited Pat Boen (Brockton, Mass.) describes the Division 1 level for Stonehill College and his baseball program.
After competing in the renowned Northeast-10 Conference since first playing ball in 1981, the Skyhawks are entering a whole new world in 2023 as first-time members of the highest collegiate level and the Northeast Conference.
Stonehill is New England’s first new D1 team since longtime rival Merrimack made the same jump from NE-10 to NEC in 2020.
