The fall recruiting season for college baseball appears to have slowed to crawl in recent weeks, as we enter a period in which the NCAA limits communication between college coaches and recruits as well as campus visits.
There are recruiting dead periods and shutdowns in parts of November, December and January. In fact, the first dead period started on Nov. 6.
Since our last update, a total of 12 high school prospects in the Class of 2024 have firmed up their college plans — bringing the total of New England prospects planning to play college baseball to 275.
