With a new academic year underway, it’s time for New England Baseball Journal to continue its annual look at the best of the best from another busy summer in the region.
The second of our summer All-NEBJ teams for 2023 focuses on the NECBL, where our lists includes representation from eight of the league’s 13 franchises.
Last month, the Newport Gulls defeated the Bristol Blues for the league championship, winning the Fay Vincent Sr. Cup for a league-leading seventh time but the first since 2014 after emerging from a competitive Coastal Division.
As usual, players listed on our All-NEBJ rosters must hail from New England and/or play their college baseball in the region.
