August is time for the top summer showcase events for high school and prep players. Pro scouts and college recruiters will be looking to identify the best New England prospects in the leadup to the 2022 MLB Draft.
Here's a look at some of the bigger events across the nation:
Aug. 2 to 5: East Coast Pro Showcase in Hoover, Ala.
Aug. 7 to 11: Area Code Games in San Diego, Calif.
Aug. 12 to 14: Area Code Underclass Games in Los Angeles, Calif.
Aug. 22: Perfect Game All-American Classic in San Diego, Calif.
