For high school and prep players in the graduating classes of 2023 and 2024, there is no better opportunity to get scouted than the Area Code Underclass Games.
The annual summer showcase event includes the top 150 underclass players from across the country. Four New England players earned selections to the 2021 Area Code Underclass Games, which will be played Aug. 12 to 14 at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. The New England players will play on a Yankees roster primarily comprised of players from the Northeast.
Seven regional teams will travel to California to compete in a three-day underclass tournament. The rosters feature the best players in the graduating classes of 2023 and 2024 from around the nation competing at the highest level. Scouts from all 30 Major League teams as well as top NCAA coaches will be in attendance.
