Baseball and Babson College have been synonymous for as long as Tim Noone can remember.
Noone has had a front-row seat to see his father, Matt, building one of New England’s and the nation’s top Division 3 programs, culminating in a recent run that included the Beavers’ first-ever College World Series appearance in 2019.
He grew up idolizing players that donned the Babson uniform and dreamt of doing the same when his time arrived. That time came this year, and Tim completed the full-circle journey by joining his father’s program.
“I thought they were the coolest guys in the world when I was younger,” Tim Noone said. “I remember players babysitting my brother and I when I was four or five, and then being the bat boy. As I got older and through that phase, it was cool to be able to do some of the drills with the guys and get better from the experience.”
