It's never taken Evan Sleight long to get into the swing of things.
As a freshman at Belmont Hill, he was thrust into a starting outfield role when current Holy Cross standout Austin Masel (Stoneham, Mass.) broke his wrist at the end of basketball season.
Sleight (Framingham, Mass.) responded by batting over .300 and leading the team in home runs. He hit the same way he always had, whether in the cage getting coached by his father or playing summers for the New England Ruffnecks.
