Boston College outfielder Travis Honeyman will enter the 2023 season as a first-round MLB Draft prospect after earning being ranked No. 23 on MLB Pipeline's top 100.
Honeyman emerged from relative obscurity in the summer of 2021, when he batted a league-record .430 in the NECBL. In 2022, he continued to hit at the highest levels with BC and the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape League.
As a BC sophomore, he led the team with a .329 batting average with six home runs. He was a Cape League All-Star last summer, batting .289 with four home runs and 14 runs scored.
Honeyman recently sat down with New England Baseball Journal to discuss the upcoming season and the MLB Draft.
