The level of success that Bryant has achieved within the Northeast Conference in recent year has not been matched by another one of New England’s Division 1 programs.
In 2020, the Bulldogs will be looking to sit at the top of the conference as its regular-season champion for the ninth straight season. Bryant has reached 40 overall wins four times and captured three tournament championships over the previous eight years.
Bryant isn’t standing out among its regional peers for those numbers alone entering this coming spring. Five-time NEC Coach of the Year Steve Owens took the head job at Rutgers in June after amassing a 327-184-2 record during nine seasons in Smithfield, R.I., leaving the Bulldogs as the only New England squad with a new skipper.
