The Cape Cod Baseball League is widely regarded by New England prospects as the premier summer collegiate league in the country.
As we head into the holiday season and prepare to turn the calendar to 2023, Cape League team executives are beginning to round out commitments for each of their respective rosters.
Before we get to our list of 17 Cape League commits, please note that this is in no way a final accounting of New England players who will earn roster spots on Cape League teams in 2023. Team executives are still very much in the introductory process of filling rosters. Some top 2023 MLB Draft prospects will opt to play out the college season before deciding whether to commit to playing on the Cape. College players on teams that advance deep into the NCAA Tournament may also choose to opt out of the Cape League season. Injuries can also impact player commitments.
