The cancellation of the 2020 Cape Cod Baseball League season left a hole in the hearts of many baseball fans around New England.

Those hearts will presumably be filled with the return of the Cape League later this month. Games are set to begin on June 20, and rosters are starting to take shape for each of the 10 teams.

The Cape League, historically recognized as one of the top summer collegiate leagues in the nation, will have more competition for top-tier collegiate players in 2021. The Appalachian League will start its inaugural season June 3. Major League Baseball, Prep Baseball Report (PBR), and five founding members also recently kicked off the first season of the MLB Draft League, which becomes the first league in the country focused on top prospects who are eligible to be drafted by MLB clubs that summer.

While the Cape League rosters are still fluid as many players remain focused on their college seasons before deciding how much of a commitment they'll make to summer baseball, the following players are currently on Cape League rosters.
