The Cape Cod League championship series is set to begin tonight, and New England will be well represented on the rosters of the contenders -- the Brewster Whitecaps and Bourne Braves.
Bourne will have nine players with New England ties on the roster for the championship series, while Brewster will have two. Brewster is vying for its second championship since 2017 after failing to make the playoffs last season. Bourne last won a championship in 2019.
