The debut of the commitments list for the high school/prep Class of 2023 includes 19 incoming juniors who have made verbal commitments to college coaches.
For perspective, a total of 212 players in the Class of 2021 have made commitments to play college baseball, while 82 players in the Class of 2022 have made verbal commitments.
Whether it’s through prep/high school or the travel ranks, New Englanders are routinely bound for some of the nation’s top college baseball programs. Many stay within the region, but the point remains: The college baseball ranks – across all three divisions – are chock-full of local players. To get insight into what’s coming, we have a running database of all college-bound players from New England. Players, parents and coaches are welcome to submit updates.
