The spring season is not a vibrant one for D1 college recruiting. Most college coaches are focused on the NCAA season before turning their attention to recruiting during the summer.
Only 50 New England high school and prep prospects in the Class of 2026 have committed to D1 programs. Expect that number to rise between June and August.
Starting Aug. 1, NCAA D1 coaches can offer prospects in the Class of 2027. So, many D1 coaches will look to fill out the incoming Class of 2026 before then.
