This happens to be a landmark week on the recruiting calendar as National Letter of Intent Signing Day falls on Nov. 9. That's the day when student-athletes all across the country participate in photo opps at their respective high schools, earning well-earned adulation from parents, coaches and classmates for achieving their athletic and academic goals.
Perhaps it is no coincidence that the last 10 days served as a particularly busy stretch in terms of commitment announcements. A total of 30 players from New England announced commitments since Halloween.
It did come as a bit of a surprise to see some D1 programs starting to secure commitments in the Class of 2025. For highly recruited high school underclassmen, the timing might feel urgent so that they can announce their respective commitments before NLI Signing Day. Just remember: as we see play out time and time again in NCAA athletics, the school has no obligation to honor the commitment three years in advance, and the player is also free to continue to continue to seek offers from other schools.
Here is a look at 30 New England prospects who committed to offers from college coaches in November.
