The start of a new school year has not slowed the recruiting cycle, as an average of 15 student-athletes per week continue to commit to college coaching staffs.
That number held firm through the first week of September, as exactly 15 New England prospects announced commitments to college baseball programs. For those '23 prospects holding out hope for a D1 offer, don't lose faith. Two '23 prospects -- and three others in the Class of '24 -- committed to D1 offers in the last week.
Of course, there is no shame in playing any level of college baseball, and the list of commitments also includes outstanding options like SNHU, Wheaton College, Saint Anselm and other D2 or D3 powerhouses.
Here’s a look at 15 players who committed to college programs in the month of September.
