The pace of college commitments has slowed in recent weeks, as the NCAA recruiting calendar flipped to a quiet period from Oct. 9 to Feb. 29.
During that period, it is permissible for coaches to make in-person recruiting contacts only on the college campus. No in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts or evaluations may be made during the quiet period.
As a result, there are only 11 new commitments to highlight, and many of them were made earlier in the fall.
Here's a look at 11 New England prospects who made commitments to college baseball programs this fall. They include three D1 prospects, one D2 prospect, and seven D3 prospects.
