Hurricane Milton has impacted the world of college baseball recruiting. The postponement of the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Fla., to next weekend will now prevent D1 college coaches from being in attendance.
The D1 Recruiting Quiet Period starts on Oct. 14, which would have been the last day of the Jupiter event. Instead, the tournament will be played during a time in which the NCAA prohibits college coaches from being in attendance.
Offers can still be extended through the Quiet Period, but in-person recruiting visits can not happen. Historically, Columbus Day weekend marks the end of the heavy recruiting season for college baseball coaches.
With that in mind, it's no surprise that we have 15 college commitments to report in the final full week before the Quiet Period. Here's a look at 15 players who took advantage of the fall recruiting season.
