October proved to be one of the busiest months of the baseball recruiting calendar, as college coaches extended offers at the start of an NCAA Quiet Period.
College coaches can no longer scout players in person until March, so they are working on solidifying their incoming recruiting classes based on their final 2024 evaluations. The Perfect Game WWBA World Championship events in October served as a final evaluation period for many college coaches.
As we catch up on all of the October commitments, we have a list of 15 new players who have announced plans to play college baseball. Of the 15, six came from D1 prospects.
