The return to campus of college baseball players has slowed the rate of commitments for high school players in the month of September.
The opening week of September saw 15 high school prospects from New England commit to college programs. All 15 were D2 and D3 commitments, as most D1 recruiters appear to have turned their focus to the fall season.
There are now 192 New England prospects in the Class of '24 committed to playing college baseball. To get insight into what’s coming, we have a running database of all college-bound players from New England. Players, parents and coaches are welcome to submit updates. If doing so, please send all additions to dguttenplan@baseballjournal.com and include the following: name, hometown, position, college, high school, class year, and club team.
Here is a look at the 15 college commitments from the first week of September.
