Players in both the Class of 2024 and Class of 2025 continue to make commitments to college programs during the NCAA Division Contact Period.
The NCAA recruiting calendar for D1 baseball includes a Contact Period from Sept. 15 through Oct. 8. During that time, it is permissible for college coaches to make in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts and evaluations.
A total of 25 high school prospects have committed to college programs since the start of the NCAA Contact Period, with four of those commitments coming from players in Class of 2025. All four of those commitments are D1 programs -- at UMass Lowell, UMass Amherst, Maine and Marist, respectively. That's not to say the recruiting calendar has closed for D1 prospects in the Class of 2024. Another four 2024 prospects committed to D1 programs, which include Binghamton, Fordham, Merrimack, and Mount St. Mary's.
Here's a look at the 25 college commitments.
