This is the point of the year when the recruiting calendar starts to split -- with D1 coaches working on early commits for the '24 class while D2 and D3 schools finalize their respective recruiting classes for 2023.
There have been more D1 commitments for '24 graduates than '23 graduates in the last week, to give some insight on where the focus for New England's top college coaches is directed.
All told, in the last two weeks, 25 New England prospects have committed to college baseball teams. Three of those players are D1 commits in the Class of '23. Seven of the D1 commits are '24 graduates. The remaining 15 are D2 and D3 commits in the Class of '23.
