The college commitment announcements continue to flood social media as the busiest recruiting month of August comes to a close.
The August tally for commitments among New England prospects has reached 100, and there are still two days left in the month. With students returning to college campuses and the fall season about to start, the cadence of college commitments figures to slow in September.
The following list includes 28 commitments from high school prospects. The D1 schools represented are UMass Amherst, Richmond, Penn State, Stonehill, Virginia Commonwealth, Rhode Island, Maine, Vanderbilt, Villanova, UConn, Fordham, and Northeastern. The list also includes perennial D2/D3 national championship contenders like SNHU and Wheaton College, among others.
