February serves as the calm before the storm for baseball recruiting.
Most college teams are starting their respective seasons, so those coaches don't have as much time to scout high school recruits. Since the high school and prep seasons are right around the corner, the pace of college offers figures to pick up in the coming weeks and months.
There are currently 445 New England prospects in the Class of 2025 committed to college programs. That number grew to about 600 for the Class of 2024.
