Division 1 teams around New England and beyond have a host of seniors and graduate students on their rosters whose careers would have normally been over.
But each year provides opportunities for newcomers to make their own impact on rosters.
That impact has certainly been felt in 2022. Below, NEBJ spotlights 10 true freshmen who have played key roles on their respective teams. We will cover the Ivy League separately, as the rosters of that circuit’s four New England programs have integrated two classes without college baseball experience entering this spring.
