A sweep at the top and some wins nearly all the way down the Top 10 highlighted the second weekend of Division 1 college baseball play for New England teams.
Of course, there was great excitement for the return of the region’s four Ivy League clubs who all picked up one victory during their long-awaited debuts.
The coming week features season openers for the final two local teams, including the defending Northeast Conference champs from Central Connecticut State.
