It’s officially time to turn the page to the “second season” for all of New England’s Division 1 baseball programs.
Saturday marked the final day of regular-season action for those teams whose seasons continued into this past weekend. It was a milestone day for Fairfield, Hartford, Northeastern and others with tournament time on the horizon.
Two New England clubs got the results they needed to clinch top seeds in their respective conference races. The week ahead is short, as postseason play begins on Wednesday or Thursday before the NCAA Selection Show takes place a week from Monday, May 30.
